Project THORN
Cyrus unleashes the four THORN agents on the city—each representing an anti-version of a Metro Mutant. These elite operatives have been specifically designed to counter the abilities of Talon, Vega, Eko, and even the mysterious Nocturne who recently joined the team.
The Metro Mutants are baited into a public confrontation with the THORN agents, resulting in a destructive battle that's broadcast across the city. The carefully orchestrated media coverage paints the Metro Mutants as dangerous threats while portraying the THORN agents as heroic protectors.
Meanwhile, Spade makes a shocking discovery while investigating her family's past—her parents were early investors in ARKON Industries before she was born, potentially making her complicit in the very organization they're fighting against. As the team struggles against these perfectly-matched opponents, they must also confront the possibility that Spade's connection to ARKON might be deeper than any of them realized.
